  • 3 cups finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped jalapeño pepper
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 5 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 packages SURE-JELL powder pectin

Instructions

  1. Sterilize six 8-ounce canning jars and lids. Heat water in a hot water canner.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine red, green, and jalapeño peppers with apple cider vinegar and pectin. Bring to a rolling boil while stirring constantly.
  3. Quickly stir in sugar and return to a rolling boil for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and skim off foam.
  4. Ladle jelly into prepared jars, leaving 1/4 inch space at the top. Cap tightly with lids.
  5. Process jars in boiling water for five minutes before allowing them to cool completely.
