  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 7.5 oz chive & onion cream cheese spread
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated, divided)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 bell pepper stem (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, chive & onion spread, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 ¼ cups of shredded sharp cheddar until smooth.
  2. Lay a double layer of cling wrap on the counter and sprinkle ⅓ cup of shredded cheddar where the bottom of the cheese ball will sit.
  3. Scoop the mixed cheese onto the cheddar on cling wrap, then cover entirely with remaining shredded cheddar.
  4. Wrap tightly in cling wrap and shape into a round ball. Use rubber bands to create grooves resembling a pumpkin.
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving, then remove rubber bands and add the bell pepper stem for decoration.
