- 1 pound boneless sirloin (cut into bite-sized chunks)
- 2 cups beef broth (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tablespoon tallow or turkey bacon grease
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- Kosher salt (to taste)
- Cook turkey bacon until crispy; set aside.
- Preheat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and add tallow.
- Sear sirloin chunks until browned; remove from pot.
- Brown ground beef with optional spices until fully cooked.
- Return sirloin to the pot, add broth, and stir well.
